Q- What type of equipment to you use?
A- We use a Canon 5d Mark II, 30D and a T3i with high-quality L-series lenses. We also have backup equipment to ensure that your day is covered at all times.
Q- Can I change the packages to fit my needs?
A- Of course!
Q- Do you and Alan shoot every wedding together?
A- Yes, if at all possible! We work great as a team. In addition to all those great abilities, he's a great photographer! If for some reason he can't attend, I always find a competent second-shooter/assistant to replace him.
Q- I've never had my pictures taken by a professional before, I'm nervous I'll be uncomfortable or look like an idiot.
A- I guarantee you'll look like an idiot in some of the images, but I promise not to show those ones to you. :) So far, I haven't had a couple where they were both professional models... everyone is nervous at first. But as time goes on, we all relax and have fun and actually enjoy the process, and it shows in the images.
Q- Do I have to have an engagement session?
A- Of course not, but I would highly recommend it. Not only does it give you some really awesome images of the two of you, it also gets out the "nervous of being in front of a camera" jitters, gets us comfortable with each other, and helps you look more relaxed in your wedding day images.
Q- What will I use the images from the engagement session for?
A- The most popular use is the guestbook, where we, or you, can make a sign-in album using the images from our session. Guests can sign in, yearbook style, while enjoying the great images of the two of you. In the end, you have a really great keepsake. Save the date cards and images to display at the tables and with the favors are other popular uses for the engagement session images.
Q- Do you take destination weddings?
A- Yes!
Q- Do you shoot weddings on Sundays?
A- No. I would like to keep that day open as it is family day for us. BUT, If you let us know well ahead of time on when your wedding day will be, then we will consider shooting that day.
Q- What if I have more questions?
A- Ask away! Email us or call us so we can answer your questions.
